About Arizona Downs

Sitting on 120 acres, Arizona Downs is in Prescott Valley, Arizona, about 90 miles north of Phoenix and 90 miles southwest of Flagstaff, while hosting both Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing. The track originally opened in 1951 under the name Prescott Downs, and was also run under the name Yavapai Downs. In 2018 the track was purchased by J&J Equine Enterprises LLC and rebranded as Arizona Downs along with new off-track betting locations in the surrounding area.
